Helping Hands Domestic Care Limited is a recently formed local company. Its founder and manager Wendy Dennis, having had experience in the industry since 1998, utilised her expertise to develop her own thoughts and style into the provision of domestic care.

The concept of Helping Hands is based on attention to detail and the personal touch. The company objective is to be the best at what it does and to ensure the Helping Hands portfolio extends beyond the normal domestic cleaning services.

The package of services offered by Helping Hands is available to everybody in the community, offering domestic support and assistance within clients own homes to:

• Professional people out at work all day
• People convalescing following illness or operations
• New mums requiring some extra support during the first months following the “new arrival”
• Disabled people
• The Elderly

Whilst all our services are offered to the general public, we would highlight the fact that they have been deliberately tailored and adapted for the latter two groups. Both groups are particularly vulnerable and with the exception of personal care Helping Hands has put together a package of services that will enable a client to enjoy the comforts of their own home knowing that they can benefit a range of services and assistance from one service provider. Consistency, trust and continuity of care are of utmost importance to these groups.

It is the primary aim of Helping Hands to extend a friendly, caring, personal and excellent service to all our clients.

When a client instructs Helping Hands to set up a domestic arrangement on a regular basis, the job is allocated to an employee who will be dedicated to that particular client; therefore the client has no need to worry about continually opening the door to a stranger. Their carer becomes a key person in their lives so will know when anything is amiss sometimes before anybody else (this is not the case when different workers are sent in regularly). It is therefore possible to ensure that the right help is respectfully offered at the right time without total intrusion into independent lives,
