As we are very often asked to supply a service by an individual making enquiries or arrangements on behalf of somebody else, we are enhancing our services with this new concept. It is also easy to acquire as can all be done via telephone.

Who would gift certificates be suitable for?

• An elderly relative who has a birthday might appreciate a spring clean as a treat to do some of the more labour intensive jobs that they struggle with.
• A friend or relative who leads a very busy life and may like the luxury of somebody doing their cleaning for a period of time.
• A friend or relative that has experienced ill health or a period of time being hospitalised where by assistance at home while they convalesce would be welcome. (A Welcome Home Gift)
• A house warming gift for somebody moving into a new home that may need a complete clean.
• An unusual gift for a new mum. Having a new baby can be extremely tiring so a wonderful gift for a new mum would be to have help with the household chores for the first few weeks or months.
• Birthdays, Christmas, Anniversary, New Baby, Wedding Gift

How it works?

• You can decide who you wish to purchase the certificate for.
• You then telephone Helping Hands and instruct them as to what  you would like the certificate to specify. (eg – “a one off  4 hour spring clean” or a “2 hour regular clean for 4 weeks” – you choose!! )
• You are then billed for the cost of the service and when payment has been received we can either send the certificate to you or post directly to the recipient.
• The recipient then telephones us to make the arrangements.
• The voucher is handed to the appointed worker on completion.
